The rich are not the problem and never have been.
The problem is the government and regulations. Manufacturing left because of regulations and taxation.
We also lost a workforce willing to work why should they in the land of socialism.
Lose your job sit at the house and draw unemployment forever now along with food stamps.
Rich are going to invest and spend money where they can get the most return
on investment. The government has done away with that opportunity in its march to socialism.
Go back and study your history again on immigrants to this country with nothing more than the clothes on their back
that became rich. They didn't have the boot of government oppression standing on their throat.
As I heard a leading economist say you could take all the money away and give everyone a 1000 dollars
to start over. The guy living under the underpass would still be there and Bill Gates would still be on top.
It comes down to how you manage a dollar not what you make. It is all about saving and reinvesting the majority
of Americans don't have the IQ anymore or the will power. What comes in goes out with that extra dollar.
Myself I have never seen one of those extra dollars.
The biggest problem we have is we have become eat up with greed an envy of our fellow American.
Instead of go out an earn it we think they should share what they earned.
Would agree with most of these statements. I would say that I would love to see a flat tax of 10% on all income and tranactions. We do have a portion of the economy that dont like that idea. They live off the investments and hard work of their forfathers, and pay less of a percentage of tax on their income than the common man. That does need to stop!
HC I think they should do it like Texas a flat sales tax. If you don't spend your money your not taxed.
For you not familiar food and drugs are not taxed here.
Your taxed based on what you spend not what make.
Every dollar spent in Texas to buy a product is taxed at 6.25% we don't have an income tax.
