I'm Racist ?????????

Help Support CattleToday:

We are still a single species, even evolutionist agree with that but we are a species of wonderful variety.o/quote]
We maybe the same species but like most species of animals there are different breeds, and that surely is the different races? as we are only the highest breed of animal after all!

You confused me Chrisy. You say that there are different breeds of homosapien and these different breeds are what people call races. Then you say that we are the highest breed of all animals. Well if a breed can be a higher order than other breeds which breed of homosapien is the highest?

Speciation is a pillar science in Biology. It is the study of how species come into existence. It has a foundation in population genetics. Populations of living things become isolated from the total genetic pool and can no longer exchange genes with the total population of a species. As a result, the changes that accumulate lead to a new species that can no longer breed and create fertile offspring with its ancestor population. [the kaibab squirrel is an example of where the original squirrel population was split and the population that was isolated on the Kaibab plateau by the Grand Canyon became a new species].

The terms "race" and "breed" do not have significant meaning in speciation or biology. Yes the terms are used and can be interchangeable in meaning. The meaningful term is "species". I would not waste time discussing race and breed. They have applicable applications but not in a meaningful biological sense. In breeding, it is appropriate to use the term "breeds", i.e., breeds of cattle. In anthropology, it is appropriate to use race of men, i.e., Caucasian.

In biology, a species (plural: species) is one of the basic units of biological classification. A species is often described as the largest group of organisms capable of interbreeding and producing fertile offspring.

Homo sapiens are a species. They are capable of interbreeding and producing fertile offspring.

You do not see "race" or "breed" used in taxonomic ranks:

The spending needs to be curtailed before anything. Then we can debate a fair tax rate. Personally I'm onboard with the idea of a flat percentage

A flat percentage seems reasonable. As long as it's on all transactions. Not income.

Gimpyrancher do you think wealthy people should be taxed at a higher rate than the other taxpayers? I think that's not fair. And a person should not have to pay taxes on overtime either. Paying income taxes stinks, we already pay way to much in taxes.

Ever studied history? Why did we steel this country from it's prior owners? Same reason we now find ourselves living in. Taxation without representation. The rich back then are exactly where the rich are today here in this country. Do I believe the rich could make what they make here in any other country? No. Is there a reason why only the top percentage of earners have prospered and the middle class has vanished? The employees make more product than ever before and earn less percentage than every before. It's the rich who have influenced and changed the government, politics and Supreme Court so that our country no longer is a world leader. Now we are bullies because the rich profit in wars. The rich have benefited more than anyone else by privatizing almost all government programs and services.

In a local public hospital when I was born, I still have the receipt. $100.42. Now that the medical field is run by rich corporations, how much does it cost for a birth?

Here's another question, should the average taxpayer pay more for war and subsidies to rich corporations than you pay for welfare for the poor?

No one likes taxes yet everyone want to live here. Do I believe the rich should have more benefits and subsidies than the average person, no.

Do I believe the rich should be able to bring billions into this country without paying taxes on it or making it clear exactly where and from who it came from? No. If it wasn't for the special programs for the rich, they would have shouldered the cost of both their banking crimes and their Stock Market crimes. Instead, it was the rest of us that subsidized them.

If anything in history should be changed or erased, it'd be Ronald's influences and changes.

But that's just me I guess.

The only thing that makes us different than any other species is our ability to kill from a distance. No other species has been able to do that except us.

That is about the most outrageous idiotic statement I have ever seen in print. Well "You can keep your doctor if you want to.....period" might be a bit more outrageous. You win the prize !!!!! :bang:

Yeah just like back in the USSR....that went oh so well.

The rich are not the problem and never have been.
The problem is the government and regulations. Manufacturing left because of regulations and taxation.
We also lost a workforce willing to work why should they in the land of socialism.
Lose your job sit at the house and draw unemployment forever now along with food stamps.
Rich are going to invest and spend money where they can get the most return
on investment. The government has done away with that opportunity in its march to socialism.
Go back and study your history again on immigrants to this country with nothing more than the clothes on their back
that became rich. They didn't have the boot of government oppression standing on their throat.

As I heard a leading economist say you could take all the money away and give everyone a 1000 dollars
to start over. The guy living under the underpass would still be there and Bill Gates would still be on top.
It comes down to how you manage a dollar not what you make. It is all about saving and reinvesting the majority
of Americans don't have the IQ anymore or the will power. What comes in goes out with that extra dollar.
Myself I have never seen one of those extra dollars.
The biggest problem we have is we have become eat up with greed an envy of our fellow American.
Instead of go out an earn it we think they should share what they earned.

Would agree with most of these statements. I would say that I would love to see a flat tax of 10% on all income and tranactions. We do have a portion of the economy that dont like that idea. They live off the investments and hard work of their forfathers, and pay less of a percentage of tax on their income than the common man. That does need to stop!

HC I think they should do it like Texas a flat sales tax. If you don't spend your money your not taxed.
For you not familiar food and drugs are not taxed here.
Your taxed based on what you spend not what make.
Every dollar spent in Texas to buy a product is taxed at 6.25% we don't have an income tax.

A flat tax should include food and drugs. Leave no loop holes for the lawyers and politicians to screw it up.

How many times do they tax a truck, tractor, trailer each time it's sold and at what rate?

If you have an Ag exemption number farm equipment is not taxed.

An automobile is taxed at fair market value every time it is sold.
Everything is taxed at 6.25% cities can tax up to a max of 2%

That is why they call it a sales tax.
The only that gets caught here on resale used is anything that has a license plate.
Tax has to paid before you can get plates, other that that it is wide open.

Well you better quit buying gas, alcohol and tobacco and dang near everything else.
When you buy a gallon of gas the well was taxed, the port was taxed or pipeline if foreign crude it pays a tariff.
The refinery is taxed the tank farm the gas station and you pay an additional tax to just purchase it.
Alcohol and tobacco are as bad or worse.
What Joe American has yet to realize is corporations don't pay taxes they collect them from us to pay
Uncle Sam. The government loves the current system the public is always mad at the corporation not
who is taxing us to death
This is a mess that has been created worse than an explosion in a steel wool factory.
The simplest solution is a sales tax just got remember no matter the rate it is all passed to us.
Need a constitutional amendment Congress can not borrow they must live within the budget except in the event pf a declared war.
Talk about disappearing government agencies.
Wouldn't even need the IRS.

Hook the property tax agencies tax the same item every year....(your home and acreage). Same thing. I really woulnd't care if the flat tax applied to food. You start making exceptions in a couple of years you'll be right back where we are now with the tax code.
