I actually like that idea. At some point I will have to make that decision.I'm thinking a lake front lot on Sam Rayburn.
I made my decision when I bought this place 4 years ago. It is 100 miles from the nearest thing I would call a city. Are all of you moving to the city
only if you call a population of 8,000 a city and even then may not be living in town..21,000 in the county. Are all of you moving to the city
I know that there is a city here because its official name is Baker City (about 30 miles from me). The population is about 10,000 in a county that is 3,088 square miles with a total population of about 16,000. Interesting that in 1900 Baker City was bigger than either Boise (population 226,115) or Spokane (population 217,353). But Baker City was built around supplying the gold mines. When the mines shut down about 1920 Baker City stopped growing.only if you call a population of 8,000 a city and even then may not be living in town..21,000 in the county.
