what's the best way to kill youpon's

Remedy mixed with 2-4-D is what I used.

Since yuapon often grows under desirable trees, you will probably have to use individual plant treatment with a mix of 25% Remedy (or generic) and 75% diesel. Spray a 3 to 4 inch band on each trunk stem. Be careful.

Remedy and diesel with a basal treatment will get it no problem. Be careful near trees.

Grazon next HL will kill it if you can get full cover out of a boomless nozzle if it's short enough. Just go heavy with a quality surfactant.
