How many breeds are there of registered beef cattle?

Thank you Mr. Preston and Miss Doom for your help on my question.

But does anyone know just how many breeds there are that are registered beef cattle in our world? I was told there are over 200 different breeds of registered cattle, but I can't seem to find them anywhere :!: If anyone has any info they could give me on this, it would be appreciated. :?
