Hobby Lobby in the news.....

Help Support CattleToday:

Now how about my question. I have no religious views that would prevent me from furnishing insurance. But my conscious, morals, and philosophy prevents me from furnishing the same pills Hobby Lobby is against. My thought on Viagra was the same as my father he put it this way When the mule quits coming up to work it is time to put it out to pasture.

What if the boss lady wanted input into that? Just asking.

Hurley, I am NOT nor would I ever say your Father was wrong about anything, but one must wonder... if he had known that a simple bolus would make that mule feel much better, would he have considered somewhat lighter duty but not full fledged put out to pasture for that mule??

Just sayin'.....

My father had been widowed for a few years when a friend of his who also was a widower married a younger woman. There was no viagra at that time. So the friend had a penal transplant to create an erection. He was telling my father how great it was. My father told him if you try to keep up with that young woman and you will be dead within six months. Dad missed the time frame it was only four months but maybe he died happy. My mother died at 65 and she and dad were the same age and he lived to 93. I think he had some girl friends but never married.

Sure hope you're not burning through your money on my account. I'm sure as heck not boycotting them (didn't know there WAS a boycott). Can't boycott a place you've never shopped (not into made-in-China tscotches. I prefer to buy crafts and gifts locally, from local artists and artisans). Besides, I don't bear the owners any ill will; when asked to do so by a religious group, they pushed the limits of the law as a test case, which they're entitled to do. I simply think that corporations (of whatever stripe) are not humans, and the recent laws conflating the two I find very troubling in a democracy. It will be interesting to see how fast this case is distinguished or limited when the group that comes calling is less favored by the sitting Justices.

I'm not pickin on you. You seem to be well educated, but maybe a bit misguided regarding our type of government in these united States. This is common, and often results in the type opinion you and some others have expressed here in this topic. This is worth watching.
