History of the Vermeer baler models...

I was wondering if anybody could tell me the history of the Vermeer baler models, when they were built and the good/bad points and problems to watch for on different models, and about what they should be running for nowdays. Thanks! OL JR

The 'A' came out in about 1968. The 'C' came out in about 1975. The 'D' was about '78, the 'F' '80, the 'G' 1985? something like that. The A, C and G were very popular models. We still run a 605C. Early Massey Ferguson round balers were Vermeers with MF paint.
