Im leaving later today with a 2800 gallon fuel truck for the northwest area. Probably be refueling power line repair trucks. Hurricane is supposed to hit there Wednesday. Everyone get ready if your in that area. For the hurricane and a redneck in a fuel truck.

The coastal damage tho, is a heavy price to pay for that moisture this late in the summer.

I understand that it made landfall at 7:45 and was downgraded back to Cat 3.... which is still some serious crap... some video cam pics are pretty bad with the water/storm surges coming on land... Tons of power outages...

Im in Gainesville FL which is a little south of where it came on land. Not bad here. Looks like flooding is the worst problem.

Looking at radar, it is moving fairly fast out of FL and into GA and SC. Looks like SC and NC will get a huge amount of rain out if it and it won't barely do much in VA as it heads east out to sea.... Hope that things will get back to normal down there for the folks soon.
Anyone heard from the FL members???
