you are asking some good questions.25 years ago when we farmed wheat they was charging $15 an ac to combine.i bet its $25 an ac now.but i really dont know.

Gp back to the post you referenced and open the link to Iowa State, they show the 2007 rates for different custom operations.

Talked to some custom Combiners tonight at the ball game.

They are getting $35 per acre plus fuel. That's for wheat.
