The other day my Dad pulled a wagon up to the shed with the 2090,and he started to weld on the wagon. He was welding awayon the wagon when all of a sudden the tractor started, the current from the welder must have travelled from the wagon to the tractor to the starter. He went to look at why the tractor was running the starter had shorted out and the tractor was running and the starter was on fire.He put the fire out and turned off the tractor, tried to start the tractor after that but the starter was fried. He took the starter to town and got it rebuilt, and it still won't work. There is power at the batterys but there is no current flowing through the tractor, the cab lights won't even come on.Is there a safety fuse or something like that in the wiring harness?I think maybe the ignition switch got fried the same time the starter did,but i don't want to tear it out just yet if that isn't what it is.Has anyone ever heard of such a thing or how to fix it?
