brafords...scarce on this board?

Your cows are great your choice of bulls is another story.
The reason you don't hear much about that 5/8 cross is they tend to be hotter than the other 5/8 cross with Angus.
The Brafords are good cattle they are just not beginner stock as they have more loose screw's than most breed's.
Brafords can get hotter than a two dollar pistol shot five times and it doesn't take much to do it.
I have some F-1 tigers in the pasture, also have some Brangus love them, but both of them will blow there nose in your backpocket in a heartbeat.
I also have some 3/4 crosses Hereford /Brammer much calmer than the 1/2 or 5/8 and I get the momma traits I am looking for.

my cows are gentle as they come.
i do only have at most a dozen or so but they are easy to manage and walk among them.

as fer the bull...i try to keep my wits about me no matter what. my nieghbors 4h bull broke my knee when the gate spooked em. if he hadnt thrown me over the fence he'd fer sure hurt me real bad
