Shooting shotgun shells (410) in a pistol would make that gun a shotgun. Having a shotgun with a barrel less than 20 inches (if I remember correctly) is considered a sawed off shotgun. Not the most legal weapon to own.

The barrels are rifled. Smoothbores are illegal if 18" or less.

It is technically a pistol.

Taurus is junk.

One mans opinion.
You're right. I spoke too soon. I've only owned 2 of the many Taurus guns out there and they were worse than junk.

When I had the shop I sold a train load of Taurus. I only had one customer that was unhappy with his. He for some reason couldn;t catch on the the requirement to occasioanlly clean a gun. He's the only person I ever saw that let a Sig P226 get so cruddy that it wouldn;t function. He's also the idiot that blew a chunk of the cylinder of a SP-101. He reloaded a bunch of stuff with bullseye but used the Unique load data. When he realized what he had done I told him to pull the bullets but he thought that the Ruger was strong enough to take a little higher pressure. It was for about 50 rounds. Ruger replaced the gun with no questions asked. The Taurus had so much lead and powder residue built up on the front of the cyulinder and forcing cone that the cylinder wouldn't revolve far enough to be able to be cocked but he turned it by hand and fired it anyway. One time, at least, it wasn;t quite far enough and when he fired it he sprung the frame.

I like the looks of them, I'd like to shoot one...once...not sure I want to own one though.

Horticattleman... how does the Judge shoot?

The Judge shoots great IMO I love it for snakes and such.
That little pistol you put up looks like it might be a handful to hang on to.

I agree with CB,looks like a nice little snake gun but if your thinkin about that little pocket gun for CC I'd want a few more shots than that.

Just liked the looks of it Mahoney. The local gunsmith had one he was customizing and it looked good. Not what I'd want for CC either. Have a 9mm for that.

I was just curious if anyone actually shot one on a regular basis.
