Anyone ever shoot a 44 mag mares leg

Yep just don't get it unless your wanting something for bear country.

I have several Model 92's and 94.
Guy offered to sell me a mares leg I just didn't see a legit use.

Mr. Bo, the owner of Barrows gun shop in Butler told me " there's a big difference between want and need in guns "

+1

I always wanted one, but with the exception of a couple, just have to try and cram it the safe with the others I never use.

I would have a legit use for a 44 trapper, I've borrowed one a couple of times , but a mares leg, naah.

Not familiar with it. Does it shoot the .44 Remington Magnum cartridge? Or a bigger cartridge? If it is the .44 RM, why would that not be good for deer and hogs?

I have been owing Bo money since 1968 when he first opened South of the Courthouse in Butler. Get him to tell you about running a certain well-known Ga. politician out of his shop. ;-)). Saw Bo this morning.

I own a couple of Trappers , one .357 and a .45 Colt. They are very handy rifles. I had the opportunity to trade for a Ranch Hand , but decided against it.

Small world, did he welcome Billy? "I refused to conform to an image that a lot of people thought a president's brother should adopt."
Most folks haven't seen a NAPA or Ace Hardware stocked up like Barrows.
