I wore Notherners for years, but it seems like they cheapened them up some years ago. I couldn't get the miles out of the last couple pairs before they would leak. I switched to Lacrosse and they seem to last a little longer. I think they are warmer too.

:lol2: We got about 4 inches of wet slop yesterday. I don't enjoy being cold but I wish it would have been a little colder, it would have been more in inches then, but a lot easier to move and it wouldn't turn in to ice when the temp falls. If it's just rust, I'd probably go ahead and do it. Even if the roof looks real rusty, not much will come off in a rain and I'd think what little does wouldn't hurt anything. I reckon if it had old peeling paint I might be more concerned.

Yes they can fight. If you corner one it'll be teeth hair and eyeballs till somebody gets some relief. Surprising how fast they can move too. :lol: Not like a badger or a wolverine, but no fun in a tight spot.
