You might try drinking 2 tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar in 8 ounces of water couple times during the day. You can add a bit of honey or molasses if you can't stand the taste. It will accelerate the stone breakdown. Doesn't work for everyone,but the cost is far less than the alternative.

Break them open and dab with ammonia. The inject you with an acid and the ammonia neutralizes it. They clear up very quickly this way.

Hang in there, it will heal. Two years ago, in a similar situation, I removed a half inch of my left thumb. It was hanging on only by the fingernail. A good doc sewed it back and today it looks like nothing happened. Still no feeling, but no loss of use. Isn't it great being graceful? Wishing...
