Does anyone on here have any experience with mcnabs? How easy to train are they? How smart are they? I have a hangin tree and he is a work horse and very smart. Will be getting another once I get around to permanently registering him. Just looking for thoughts on mcnabs

My hay man bass fishing buddy did till he got run over. Smartest dog I ever saw, it was unbelievable the things he did. Besides working cows he opened gates would pull the net wrap off hay after my friend cut it. Show him something one time and he had it down.
He has a male and female ordered from somewhere out West.

My initial dogs were from the McNab ranch in Mendocino Co...Bud Williams & Doug Lane lines. Mine were instinctual headers/gathering dogs and smart. Looked like slick/short coated, prick eared BC's. If you're contemplating purchasing, do your home work and insure they're from livestock savvy handlers with proven working lines, e.g. not sport breeder's.
