Don't know when it changed but I remember "necking" was old fashioned. We used "making out" and getting to "first base".

Bet you don't know what came before Super Het? I think it was TRF (Tuned Radio Frequency). As far as I know the industry still uses the Super Het technology in all receivers.

I think you're right, now it the standard. When it first hit radio it was really considered futuristic. You don;t hear monoraul anymore either. Back in the day you specified if it was monoraul or not.
