Pulled into Gig Harbor and found dock space at 7 Seas Brewery. Yuppie pizza hit the spot.

You trolled a ways to get from your area to Gig Harbor. Growing up I fished a lot with my Grandpa on the other side of the bay at Point Defiance.

I think it's about 13 miles from Manchester to Gig Harbor , we just trolled around the north end of Vashon Island.

I only fished for 20 minutes, I was testing a new 9.9hp kicker. Record warm temperatures yesterday, 74 degrees I really just was up for a boat ride.

Boat rides are good but I don't think I'll be takin any more.
In a different life, I always fully understood there were only 2 kinds of maritime vessels. Submarines and targets and I never served on a sub..

Where do you reckon the snow line is? 5000 feet?

I'd love to see a pic of the mountain from the dead of summer when the majority of snow is gone, from the same frame for comparison.

While stationed in ft Lewis back in the mid 90s. We would go pretty often to climb, hike and run from the top parking lot. I always loved the falls there in the park. We have a picture that sits on our bookshelf of my wife and I with the mountain behind us from about 25 years ago.

Snow line is probably 2800'
