Wiring caker on to butler bed

Needing tips on wiring it up. I'm gonna run it down the bed onto the electric motor that runs the spike bed but didn't know about putting an in-line fuse or if anyone had better ideas
 
Use a 100 amp resettable fuse. You can get them at most autoparts stores.
 
So you're tapping into the power that is already at the spike motor? If that is already properly fused, shouldn't need another, just don't run both at the same time.

The butler I bought had feeder in it. I removed feeder but the company that installed for previous owner just ran wires off the post in the tool box for the pump to the feeder and then controls to cab

Your hot to trot on this feed bed, I hope it turns out as anticipated, I'm sure it will.
