Bought a Butler haybed

I thought that's what the v shaped flat strap was for on the inside of the arms. It is a solid piece that's been bent into Vs about foot long both sides

Mine do not have those, but the DewEze ones did. The chain grabs will pivot as you raise something and your chains will always be pulling down into the grab so there's less chance of something coming loose. Plus it's really quick to adjust chain for jerking t posts.
