It is 51 degrees with a warm wind and pouring down rain. The Pineapple Express has arrived. With all the snow we have had in the mountains over the last three weeks now melting it will be an interesting flood. By sometime tomorrow I will be living on a small island (the house, barn and a couple acres). the other 250 acres will all be under water getting flood irrigated. Everytime this happens I always figure if I am on an island it should be in the south seas with white sandy beaches, blue water, sunny skies, and scantly dressed young ladies wandering by. Instead I will be stuck here with mud, chocolate colored water, cloudy skies, and the neighbor gal dressed in rain gear if she ventures outside. Dang
