Bulls are good eating if you can get one during archery season at the beginning of the rut. Spikes and yearling cows are usually even better then too.

When I was up in Washington in June my son gave me some frozen razor clams. The wife is off visiting her sisters. I made myself fried potatoes and razor clams for dinner. One of the few things I miss about western Washington.

Another dig that I will miss. But I don't miss traffic jams going through Aberdeen. No traffic jams here, very little traffic. I won't miss more people on the beach than the entire population of this county. I do like my people with a little more space between them. I do like neighbors who act like neighbors should even if they live 10 miles away. There are trade offs no matter where you live.
