Dunno which 'they' the title is referring to, but from what I have seen on tv, the Q word is openly accepted by homosexuals--among themselves anyway. Not that I watch much TV anymore. From the internets urban dictionary:

No, I do not know what the difference is between the q designation and the gay designation.

I'm sure every word he said is being heavily scrutinized at this very moment so someone can try to find something to say they were offended by. The liberal media won't even let someone at the RNC wave at the crowd without trying to make some type of controversy.
