When I was child there were none here turkeys or coyotes. Now they are both plentiful. We see turkeys almost every day. Sometimes just a few and sometimes big groups of twenty or more.Other than on a bottle label, I haven't seen a wild turkey in over a dozen years.
Coyotes
They are, turkey hunting is a pretty big thing here. Are your wild ones good eating?
Ken
If you run into one before daylight going to the deer stand will scare the crap out of you.FYI even on a really broke horse it is extremely difficult if not impossible to rope an EMU.
I don't guess you get much meat after hitting one with that load.If you run into one before daylight going to the deer stand will scare the crap out of you.
Double aught will take it out like Jurassic Park.
Sounds like you have tried?FYI even on a really broke horse it is extremely difficult if not impossible to rope an EMU.
Who hasn't? We had some "wild" ones around for awhile that got happened upon while trail riding. Not only are they fast your horse is usually running the opposite way.Sounds like you have tried?
One of the neighbor's birds died and the other eventually jumped a 5 ft. fence. The one that broke free roamed around the area in different fields for a couple of months because there was no way that it was going to be herded or caught. I have no idea whatever happened to it, but it was just gone one day.FYI even on a really broke horse it is extremely difficult if not impossible to rope an EMU.
