My youngest heifer wont be of breeding are until June of this year. It will have me calving in March 2008. Is that to late to calve? I am in North Texas... I am waiting till then so they will all breed together...
I think March is a great time to calve. Good weather, not many flies. I know there are lots of spring calves that sell in the fall, but maybe when you re-breed you could hold back a couple of months and get a fall calf?
