To dry hay or not to dry hay ?

I'm NH silage special fanboy only for the fact it used to mean endless belt. The few scrapers and such have never made any difference to me. The endless belts in my eyes were worth it though.

Now I went to a crop cutter which gives you the endless belts, scrapers, but also heavier chains, larger tires, the nasty rotor feeder and knives. After having the rotor I would never go back to anything else especially in wet hay, that thing will gobbling up anything in its path.

Have you unrolled any bales that have been baled with a precutter? I've been looking at the balers and I like the idea, but I don't feed in bunks or use a mixer wagon and I'm afraid the bales would just fall apart rather than unrolling.

They don't really unroll they just kind of fall apart from the few I've done. I've only sliced some of mine for this year until I see how they feed out this winter
