The problem in Syria was an agreement between Putin, Erdogan and Trump for Turkey and Russia to take over this area. The agreement was done when Trump met Putin and had a secret meeting and took up the translators notes and hid them. This is the one world government in its infancy. Better hold on it is going to get worse. Russia was loaded and waiting for the signal to advance.

There are pictures in a book on Highland Co., Va where it shows the turkeys that were ranged on pasture then driven across the mountain to the slaughter houses here in the Shenandoah valley. Up until about 10-15 years ago there were still some range raised turkeys not too far from me in Augusta co., that were sold to the poultry companies. But the thing is, they cannot make the end product as uniform that way.... so they got rid of the range raised and went to all confinement.... a way to control EVERYTHING, including the farmers....and the taste.....

Some of that taste difference also has to do with the change from cooking in animal fat versus cooking in modified rape seed oil and/or peanut oil.

I think what happened at KFC is continuous cost cutting, and lax quality control of franchises. They were strict back in the day.
KFC is nasty now. Churches is better, Popeye's and Bojangles are better.
BTW - I invented spicy chicken.

And yes, you are right about the cooking "oil" that is used now as opposed to the animal fat that we used to use. It is just like making pie crust.... If you have ever had it made with lard, then with a veg shortening like crisco, there is a world of difference. I grew up on veg shortening pie crusts, but my grandmother would talk about using lard. The lard has to be REAL GOOD quality or it does have a strong taste that does "ruin" the taste of the pie crust. I like it both ways, but good lard will make it more "flaky" and tender... a little harder to roll out and use too, but it will fall apart in your mouth.

In 2003 Turkey refused to let the NATO approved invasion of Iraq go through Turkey and refused to help. The troops had to be moved around and come in from the South. This was just days before the invasion. Turkey needs to be kicked out of NATO. The Mideast has been in turmoil for the last 25 or so years or may be longer.

If the entire middle east was to be enveloped in war and we stayed out it would be a good thing. The entire place is a schitte hole. Every war I was a part of in the middle east we were NOT allowed to win.
Turkey is evil through to the core - the EU is weak and cowardly - lefty, socialist, spoiled and smug Canada does not meet and refuses to meet its NATO requirements - NATO is a complete shambles and not worth saving in my opinion.

Just read a little about the ottoman empire as I believe it was to project Islamic teaching and control of the world. I am sure there are some students of history on here that can explain this better. Looks like the mideast has been in turmoil for the last 500 or so years.

Middle East has been at war for thousands of years. Every since Cain killed Abel in fact. Am wondering if USA hasn't wasted lots of lives and resources over there..
