Good idea use a bull you know works for you in your environment especially when you are hoping to get multiple progeny. Use the "test" bull on the AI service.. As far as hair, our steers, out of a bull that has been here since 2009, have a ton of hair this winter. Full siblings last year had half as much hair. I was afraid we were gonna have a really cold winter when I saw all this hair growth this fall. So far so good but not out of the woods yet. How much hair growth do you have on the rest of cows?
