:? I'm not sure if I should be thankful or worried! One of my steers is shedding his winter coat so quickly. Quicker than any of my other steers. He's a black angus x hereford.
He's healthy, has not been acting different, but maybe he is stressed because we recently had a huge thunderstorm. Although, my other steers are losing their coat at a steady pace and with him you can run your hand over his back and the hair comes right out. Is this alright? He started losing it in about early March. About a month ago. He's not going bald (knock on wood) but it the hair just comes out.
Any answers are welcomed! Thankyou.
