We got snowed in on our honeymoon night. We were at Reds little cabin on the Colorado River. Which we still have today.
I shot a doe coming in from work yesterday. And hung her in the shop.
The order had came down from the boss. We didn't have enough.
I thought when I married her she'd never ate venison.
Went in the house and built a fire. Wife comes in wearing scrubs. Who called in
I joked. Who didn't she answered. She smiled and said it's snowing. I says I can't think of a new year's snow since this pretty blonde from California lost her mind and married my sorry azz.
Happy anniversary fence she says.
Like always we celebrated the new year and our Anniversary at home.The rare snow made it a little extra special.
Shoulda drove out to the river I guess.
But we both had work today..... sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am.
