Snowing tonight in eastern North Dakota and will be coming else where all too soon. :(
Only a couple of places in Mn. have had killing frost and pretty sure we can dodge it tonight
and we'll be good for another 10 days. Our corn and soybeans were planted so late this spring
we really need the frost to stay away as long as possible.

Hit 97 on the recording thermometer yesterday and calling for record temps again today to at least equal yesterday. Then dropping 20 degrees to more normal.... It is hot out there today.
Maybe some showers on Mon and Tues.....PLEASE.... We did have that .45 last week when we had that pop up shower, and I am thankful for every drop but it just doesn't last or go very far when the temps are like this.

It was 22 here at the house yesterday morning. The hill behind the house is 2,000 feet higher. Snow on both the Elkhorns and the Eagle Caps. We were cold enough the moisture to make snow just didn't make it. The highs have been in the mid 50's.

We set the October record at 97. We've had no rain for a month. Temps are finally forecast for the 70s for the next week, so 90s are surely over for this year. Finally, an 80% chance of rain is forecast for Sunday.

And we've been 12-15 degrees below average; cold and drizzling.
65 degrees would be so welcomed.

SNOW what is that?! 😅 Its been a record high here and no rain for over a month. Today is the first day its cooled off some. Thank God!!
