I know rough coat and diareah are signs
of cattle being wormy.
Is it true that a pouch under the jaw is also
a sign of worms in cattle.
what are other indicators of wormy cattle.

In addition to what you posted, poor-doing cattle, cattle that eat and eat and eat and never gain, cattle that go "off" feed are a few more indications of internal parasites.

actually that's a johne's cow.
similar symptoms, if this one was wormy i would say she is wormy in the third degree.!

and i would say she's a good example of more than a wormy cow (or a Johne's cow).

wow that cow looked bad! wonder how long it takes for a wormy cow to look like that! id say the worms are cowey.. poor thing do you think something that bad would ever pull out of it? rose

If a cow has a large infestation of worms, do you have to worry about problems when you worm them? Like in some horses when they have a lot of worms, there can be problems if a large amount die off at a time.

I have one out of my eight that I (and the vet) believe to be wormy. I had planned to Ivomac them but kept reading here that now is the wrong time. When is it safe to worm?
