Neck/throat worms possibly

Caught up a couple pairs today and noticed this momma has a pocket on her throat not hard like a abscess I can squeeze it I hit her with a round of ivermectin got a few other ladies with a date to see the vet so I'm gonna have her looked at by him as well she's got a 3 month old heifer on her side a little thin but not the worst I've seen still has good milk in all 4 quarters and it doesn't seem to Effect her eating. Ain't ever had this problem with one before

She has been turned out on a place with zero supplements other than mineral got her up at the home place in a lot with the others that will be seen by vet

i going to hope worms but vet will get to bottom Of it I hope. She's only cow with issue and hasn't been babied in the slightest way we shall see

Liver flukes will cause symptoms you described .
Only ivomec injectable will cure the pour on won't.
You live in prime fluke country.

Also a symptom of hardware. What does her brisket look like? Swelling in her legs?

I gave her ivermectin injectable I don't use pour on still going to let the vet check her out

No swelling there! But this is why I mentioned the possibility of hardware. My cow's brisket isn't yet swollen in the first pic but noticeably larger in the 2nd, just a couple weeks later. And she already had a magnet, so something other than metal. Good luck with yours!

Ill See what the vet says and give her a little time. She was a last chance cow when I bought her. She was on thin side of things and bred couldn't find ivermectin at the time"Covid use I assume" I purchased her and a few others I gave them all safeguard pellets and turned them loose this the first time she's been caught up since she calved out

Vet hit her with another round of wormer this is what he used said it will knock out her issue
