Think of history, as the story goes in the 1800s. People buried everything. Never know what we can find under our feet.

Back in the 80's when the Savings & Loan's went belly up my grandpa took all his money out of the bank and put it in a lead pipe and buried it in his back yard.

I would guess he did the same with his family when he was younger during the depression era.
