why are fall calf heifers getting p neumonia and not the bulls? The bull calves have been implanted.

Any animal can develop pneumonia. Are the heifers housed or fed differently from the bulls? This can make a difference. Are they vaccinated?

Implanting with hormones shouldn't make a difference, but I guess it's possible. Talk to your vet! V

the calves are all in the same pasture with the same feed,hay and creep feed,they have also all had all the shots.
