pinkeye vacc. to weaned calves?

I was wondering if any of you that background calves over the summer are vaccinating for pinkeye? I'm thinking I'm wanting to do it, plus fly tags. These are calves that I've raised here.

Do you normally get pinkeye there at your place? And do you have white face cattle?

I have never had a case of pinkeye in my Brangus. (17 years) So I do not give it.
I guess that if I had any cases that I would.

No wf cattle but remember my folks having pinkeye in the cattle years ago. It's a dollar/hd, seems like cheap insurance (assuming it works) against a more substantial hit on sale price of foggy eyed calves, or worse?

I give the vaccine to everything. I background a few calves and it is just part of what they get.
