One of Our Barn Cats: Darwin Award

This morning around 10 am Sandy called me at office and said electricity was off at house. I came down and checked the fuse on the transformer pole and found the fuse holder had come undone and dropped down. (She called Elec Co which came out in about 20 minutes). Meanwhile I found one of our female barn cats lying stiff about 10 ft from bottom of pole. My "guess" is that for whatever stupid reason the cat possibly climbed the pole and somehow hit the fuse holder and in process got electrocuted! Only other reason I could think of...

At least one less barn cat to get bred and one less to feed...

The cat earned the "Darwin Award"...
