Quit teasing everyone and give them your Ebay account. I have it but I won't post it. I had no idea what those MS660's sold for until I looked on your page.
Probably about 20% of the people even give feedback. I know I have sold at least 20 064/066/MS660 there recently and a lot more others with no feedback. No feedback is better than negative though as it is hard to please people selling new chainsaws much less used. That box of junk I bought at Pro team for $23 I have already sold over $200 and still have 7 blowers left...This junk is just a hobby as these nice saws are hard to find.

Here is one selling right now.......I am not using this site to promote selling anything as I know it is against the rules.

Here is the 440 in the picture.....sold

I haven't messed with it for two years but this thread gave me a little motivation to go mess with it. I really don't know much about them mechanically but I didn't think I could mess it up any worse. I took the carb off and apart and everything looked fine except for some kind of bugs plug about everything up. I cleaned it and blew it out and put it all back together. It only took a few pulls and it was screaming!

I have a stock ms261 I have been using for everything since the 460 went down and I forgot how much of a beast this one is compared to it. I don't know a lot about them but this one is supposed to be ported and have a 046/460 D jug ?

Anyways, made today a good day hearing it run.

With the carburetor being dirty I would check the fuel line in the tank and also the fuel filter in the tank and maybe replace both as the carburetor should be clean. Another very important thing is to clean the air filter often and make sure it is in good shape. Eating sawdust through the intake can cause excessive wear on the intake side of the piston/cylinder and shortens the life of the bearings. It can mess with the air/fuel ratio and cause a rich condition that can cause carbon build up (scoring on the piston).

That is a nice saw as they don't make them like that anymore.

Thanks for the help. I went ahead and ordered a new fuel filter and line.

Do you have a 084 oil pump or know where to find one?

A very very very very hard find....

Do a saved search...subscribed in Ebay and when one hits you will be notified.

Go to this arboristsite site and basically beg in a want add. If you want it bad throw a big offer price so those guys will dig deep in their parts box. Probably, I hate to say, north of $150.

https://www.arboristsite.com/community/forums/tradin-post.132/

Also in the forestry forum place a want add there.

Cross you toes and fingers and hope the stars align.

Good luck.......if no luck sell saw as it will bring good money and by an 880. Also are you sure maybe just the cog wheel might be needed.

I was fixing my chainsaw, and then I spat and bought a new one. Chose ECHO CS-271T 12 In. Chainsaw after reading this review https://homemakerguide.com/top-chainsaw-brands/. A very useful thing, because you can get lost on Amazon. And here you can see good options with a description of all functions and parameters.
