I purchased a group of calves who are out on pasture. They are eating well and active but have very loose stools. They do have "dirty" tails from their stools. Honestly I am not sure if it is diarrhea or just really loose from stress or the new pasture. They are coming to feed and everyone is eating and drinking when I have sat and observed them. I was wondering if beet pulp might firm them up a bit. So far no one seems to be dehydrated or inactive. They were apparently wormed before I got them but I did not witness the treatment.

Any insight on this?

Thanks

I'd worm them for stomach worms. Make sure what you use gets stomach worms. Its going to be a paste wormer, pour on wont take care of stomach worms.
