Looking at a 2014 Kubota 1100c UTV. Hard to put in 4wd without a lot of gear grinding. Any one know if this is common or not. 400 hours.

A quick search on google shows shifting problems are common on that unit. With that said, it sounds like the 4wd uses cables and it needs to be adjusted. I would think who ever you are buying it from would get that fixed before selling.
In my experience those "it just needs a little work" buys turn in to A LOT of work so make sure you get it at bargain bin price or walk away.
