How does this mineral look

Help Support CattleToday:

Your picture cuts off the ingredient list, but I would be concerned that the iron, zinc and magnesium appear to all be in oxide form. So very low bio availability for those. I would ask a nutritionist about it. If I were spending the money on mineral I would think I would want the minerals to be in sulfate form at a minimum. Preferably proteinates or better. But that's my 2 cents and I'm no nutritionist.

I see now that there are also amino acid complexes, that's the good stuff. Any time you see an amino acid complex you know the animal will get it all, and it won't be tied up with another mineral.

Not really bad at all. Some might think the phosphorus guarantee is a little low but many minerals absolutely have too much and it just drives the price up. Other guarantees are more than adequate and as already mentioned there are at least "some" organic minerals in the mix. Should work for you if consumption is adequate.
