Looking at buying some Hereford cattle. Was wondering if any one knows something about this Hereford
lines. cavalier 4333 , cardinal5726 , image5583 , husker type , exclusive , profile ,peacemaker.
The man said that these cattle are old timey herefords that will grass fatten. These names are what is on the papers from the late 80s. He said the herd has been close since he has owned them. He stop ed registering in 89 ,thanks for the help

This throws up a red flag for me, he has all these older lines, but no regs since 1989 (20 yrs ago). You haven't said how old they are, the price, how they been bred in the last 20 yrs..... my opinion... ouch, lots of cattle out there.

You will have to post pictures. 30 year old bloodlines don't really mean anything. It is how the cattle have been selected since then that matters most. Since no data is available, all we can judge by is phenotype and to do that we need to see them.......we really need the pics even if you had registration numbers but we got NOTHING other than you are looking at some commercial Hereford cows.
