help deciding on a headgate.

Help Support CattleToday:

Sure a good thing prices are high. I have a old WW squeeze chute it's a auto or manual catch. I feel it's pretty much bullet proof for cows. Calves can fit through the swinging gates if you don't adjust them to a smaller opening. I bought mine at a auction for $500.00 and it works great. I guess it all depends on how much money you want to spend. I'm a cheapskate myself.

There's cheap then there is frugal. Buying old that still works is frugal, buying junk and then having to use it even if it doesn;t work right and/or is dangerous is cheap. Also not to bright.
