Well, I understand now why your dealer suggested continuing the tubs. The cattle are used to the tubs while having free choice grazing.
Unless you plan to feed free choice hay, your cattle will need more than just the minerals. They utilize the roughage and energy to stay warm. They burn up more energy staying warm than staying cool. I hope that makes sense.
