I am kind of with you City. I think what Alisonb was saying is waht if we were censored Like China and Other Countries?

Guess I didn't explain myself very well at all :shock:

Basically I was referring to Internet censorship...the control, suppression or access of/to information by specifically a government. It is understandable that each country has their own policies on censorship in place as in the USA...and SA. What I was comparing was our freedom as individuals against those of say a country like China where authorities monitor every individual's access of internet and block websites etc.
Most of us would agree that Internet censorship is necessary in order to maintain a particular moral standard but that at the same time it should not violate our human rights. It's a difficult one. The internet has made our world smaller and it's great not to be restricted as some are.

Do you think there should be more or less censorship in your country? How do you feel about pornography censorship...should our children be protected or is it the parent's responsibility? Should any Tom be able to learn how to build a bomb? Do you see the Internet as a 'public' place and therefore it should be policed?

I don't think there should be any government censorship but I do think any group or organization which professes to be a news organization that puts out fake news should be held accountable.

I also think everyone should have be able to make a bomb if they want. The Darwinian effect of someone with poor bomb making skills is so .... so.... natural.
