I'm a decent size guy and all my life there have been smaller guys who liked to poke the bear to prove some thing, especially to grand stand for a crowd. Then, when you finally have enough, turn and lift them up by their throats against the wall... suddenly they dont want to play any more.

This was just an excuse to expand surveillance on trump supports. They will use this to follow up with more political prosecutions on the coat tails of the the covid witch trials.

I wasn't trying to say the protesters were the same, but to see our local congressman hiding on the floor was just a payback for doing nothing here in Seattle to stop the violence!

Exactly! My dads family primarily of German decent. People use to joke with me about Nazis and what not but later on I found out that was considered extremely offensive to our family.

We were actually from Prussia and fought in the war that opposed the political party that later Hitler would rise in. We actually continued to fight as rebels well after and had to flee the country because they were hunting down our family for their their political affiliation. That is how we ended up in the US.

The part that is always left out is that Hitler and his party killed any one who opposed them... even germans.

If you study how that all went in down in Germany there are a lot of similarities between that and what is going on in the USA today with covid and now the election.

I think much of last summer was NOT about deaths of "black folks". Much of it seemed to me to be about trashing and looting. The deaths were just an excuse for some to practice their lack of morals. If we resort to rioting and looting to express our displeasure, there will be a lot more to come. It is pretty barbaric to behave that way.

"No morals of any sort" is an exaggeration I think. He sometimes seems to be challenged in that regards like a lot of the population. I think a more objective assessment is needed. "None", "never" and "always" are usually an exaggerated position. He does appear to suffer from some weak character traits as we have seen many times in our officials.

This is where I disagree with you. We have crossed a line of hatred for each other. I really hope I am wrong here.
Historically this never turns out well. We're at that point again in our history.
