You asked about my Brahmans... here are a couple of my coming yearling heifers.

This heifer is out of a set of twin females I bottle raised. Elefante bloodline, out of a "Bozo" bull

This heifer is out of an old Brahman bloodline.. Cherokee, which is a red female line.

Bigger ears and red and they'ld be perfect for me, if we raised Brahmans

Beautiful heifers, I really like them and I wouldn't worry one bit about the telephone pole ;-) No kidding, they are very nice, I would be proud to own them.

Yay! these far surpass any boring ol' simmental pics. way to go TBL. thank ye ma'am.

Dun, I always heard that the red ones were wild, grey ones were calm.

I haven;t been around a lot of straightbred Brahman, but the red ones (gyr/gir) were so tame as to be irritating. The gray we ran in the canyons were meaner then snot and would ambush you.

yeah i have always here the opposite too. reds more gentle, grays a little testy.

That's interesting.. I've never heard about the difference in temperment. I've had more docile grays than reds actually.. but I'm sure it's because of the bloodlines. I'm really careful when it comes to temperment.
