Fly Killer Kover cover-replace the pad

I have a fly killer kover that I have used several years and the pad under the cover is about worn out. I really like it and it works well. Do you think I could glue a new pad on it or just need to buy a new one?

I see no reason not to just glue some more felt on it. Just make sure that the insecticide is still able to saturate felt.
