My gallagher m600 took a hit last night. Going to check on repair, but may be better to buy new one. Someone recommended a Cyclops has anyone used them?

I'm not very good at the click and paste thing, so just Google Pro-shock fence chargers. You can fix them yourself easy, heck my wife can even fix them. It's all plug and play, backed up by fusses.

I like the looks of their chargers.

I looked at their solar panels. Kind of high.

Home Depot seems to be a good place for solar panels.

HD is $100 less for 2.5 times the panel wattage..

We have used both being in Florida lighting has been known to take out the charger, heck one time we found the front of the charger box about 150ft away from the box, but that time it got a cow along with the charger (we counted ourselves blessed it was only one). We have two Cyclops one working and one for back up while were waiting to repair after the storm. They are good units, easy to work on if you have the parts you need.

I use SpeedRite solar chargers and really like them. Only had to replace one and a semi truck that came through the fence took it out not lightning. The local co op here keeps them in stock with plenty of parts as well.

My fence charger works better when it's either not getting struck by lightening or being shorted out because a limb fell or someone bumped into something.
