I was resently cleaning out a friends freezer and found several packages of old nuts. There were packages of pecans, peanuts, walnuts, and almonds. My question is, will it due any harm to my cows or calves if I add them to some feed or feed by themselves? I have never done this, and don't want to risk any problems with my animals. They are shelled out.

they call em mountain oysters round here
A Texan goes to his first bull fight in Mexico.
Afterwards he stops to eat at a restaurant across the street from the arena.
Seeing a fellow diner enjoying a large meal, he says to the waitress "I'll have what he's having".
Waitress, "Sorry those are Mountain Oysters. We only serve them after the bull fights.
They are popular. But you need a reservation and to order a week in advance."
Texan, "Fine I'll be back next week."
The Texan returns next week and waitress brings him the order.
Texan: "Hey these are a lot smaller than what you served that other fellow last week!"
Waitress: "Sometimes the bull wins."

You can't feed them in bulk without grinding them but they're good feed. I have a customer who gets nut meal from the driers that isn't fit for bakeries and it is phenominal feed.
